• Sustainable Energy Finance Award by the International Finance Corporation

  In 2014, Manuela Corporation (Starmall Alabang) was a winner in the Energy Efficiency Category of the Sustainable Energy Finance Awards. This was due to the proper use of energy when it retrofitted its cooling system, thus increasing foot traffic and tenant satisfaction. This is on top of the monthly P 3 million savings in electricity bills.

• Sewage Treatment System

  Starmall responsibly converts all its waste water to clean and environmentally safe water before it goes out from any of its malls and offices.

Social Concerns

• Christmas Carols

  Every year, Starmall shares its stage to kids from various organizations as they entertain mall patrons with song and dance performances. This year, Alay sa May Kapansanan Foundation and Children's Joy Foundation delighted shoppers with their Christmas revues.

• Senior Citizen Treat

  In all Starmall Cinemas branches, Senior Citizens are given free entrance to any movie of their choice.

• Give a Toy, Share a Joy

  This is a yearly program of Starmall that gathers toys from all mall patrons, employees, affiliates and partners. Collected toys will then be donated. This year, the children of Baseco experienced the joy of receiving these pre-loved toys.
